Do You Believe Food Has a Story?
“At TamizhpittamirthaMidly, every idli carries the silence of tradition, the warmth of care, and the whisper of Ancient kitchens.”
Our Story
Our Beginning
“உணவு தருவது கடமை அல்ல — அது அருளின் சேவை.”
“அருட்பெருஞ்ஜோதி வாழ்க!!”
Vanakkam!
We are forever guided by the divine path of Vallalar Swamigal, whose wisdom, simplicity, and unshakable compassion laid the foundation for a life of service, love, and light.
His photo on our banner is not decoration — it is direction.
I grew up in a home where அம்மா prepared food as if each meal was a blessing. She cooked with prayer, served with silence, and believed that feeding even one hungry person could bring grace into the home. That belief stayed with me.

The Goal
“Food is my Offering. Service is my Prayer.”
I am not a chef. I am not a businessman.
I am simply a seeker on the path of grace, trying to live by the light of Arutperunjothi Aadhi Naathi Arul Perum Jothi and the compassionate teachings of Thiru Arutprakasa Vallalar Ramalinga Swamigal.

Inspired by Vallalar's Vision
“அனுதினமும் உயிரினங்களுக்கு உண்ண உணவு அருள வேண்டும்.”

We follow the spiritual path taught by Vallalar Swamigal, who preached:
We follow the spiritual path taught by Thiru Arutprakasa Vallalar Ramalinga Swamigal, whose compassion extended to all living beings.
- Compassion
Each idli is prepared and offered as an act of kindness, with love for all beings.
- Simplicity
No artificial flavours, no shortcuts — just honest, soul-nourishing food.
- Non-Violence
Our meals are 100% vegetarian and sattvic, honoring all forms of life.

"Bringing the soul of the past into the hands of the present.”

“A soft idli is more than food — it’s the silence, care, and grace of generations, steamed into one bite.”

What We Serve Is Not Just Food — It Is Arul
At TamizhpittamirthaMidly, we don’t see idli as a dish.
We see it as prasadham — a sacred offering, shaped by tradition and steamed with grace.
Each grain of rice, every scoop of batter, and every drop of chutney is touched with silence, prayer, and spiritual mindfulness. Our hands do the work, but it is அருட்பெருஞ்ஜோதி’s light that guides it.
Here, idli is not a product — it is a message from our ancestors.
A message of purity, patience, and அன்பும் அருளும் (love and divine grace).
At TamizhpittamirthaMidly, our mission is simple:To serve food that cleanses the body, calms the mind, and uplifts the spirit — as our elders and saints intended.
“This is the food that once nourished saints — now served with the same spirit.”
